Paygent.ai provides software tools designed to help small business owners better understand payment processing fees and gain financial transparency. We are not a payment processor, do not move funds, and do not execute transactions on your behalf.

We collect information in three primary ways: information you provide, information generated through use of the Services, and information collected automatically.

A. Information You Provide

You may choose to provide the following information:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, business name
  • Business Profile Information: Information submitted through our Recommendation Engine, such as business type, transaction volume ranges, and operational preferences
  • Uploaded Financial Documents: Payment processing statements and related files you upload for analysis
  • Communications: Messages you send us, including support inquiries or feedback
B. Information Generated Through Use of the Services

When you use Paygent.ai, we generate:

  • Audit Results and Reports: Analyses, summaries, and insights created from uploaded statements
  • Recommendations and Scores: Outputs from our analytics and AI-assisted tools
  • Engagement Data: Which features you use, buttons clicked, and pages viewed
C. Automatically Collected Information

We automatically collect limited technical information, including:

  • IP address
  • Browser type
  • Device type
  • Log data and usage metrics

This information helps us operate, secure, and improve the Services.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use information for the following purposes:

  • To provide and operate the Services
  • To analyze payment processing fees and generate audit reports
  • To deliver insights, recommendations, and educational content

4. AI and Human Review

Paygent.ai uses a combination of artificial intelligence and human review to analyze uploaded data.

  • Uploaded financial documents may be used to train and improve our models
  • At this stage, such data is not de-identified
  • Final audit outputs are reviewed by humans before delivery

We do not sell training data or license it to third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above.

  • Uploaded financial statements: Automatically deleted after 90 days
  • Audit reports and outputs: Retained indefinitely for your continued access
  • Account information: Retained while your account remains active

Certain information may be retained longer if required for legal, security, or compliance purposes.

6. Your Rights and Choices

A. Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your data at any time by clicking this link.

  • Deletion requests are completed within five (5) business days
  • Deleting your data may limit your ability to access prior audit results

B. Opt-In Data Sharing

You control whether your information is shared with third parties.

  • Tracked outbound links: Clicking a processor’s website link does not share your personal data
  • “Request an Intro” actions: If you choose to request an introduction, we may share only the business profile information you selected. Audit data is never shared.

You can choose whether or not to engage with these options.

7. How We Share Information

We share information only in limited circumstances:

  • With service providers who help us operate the Services (e.g., hosting, analytics), under confidentiality obligations
  • With payment providers, only when you explicitly request an introduction
  • For legal reasons, if required to comply with law or protect rights and safety

We do not sell your personal or financial data.

8. Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information. While no system is perfectly secure, we design our platform to minimize risk and restrict access to sensitive data.

9. U.S.-Only Services

Paygent.ai is intended for users in the United States only. We do not currently target or operate services for users outside the U.S.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Services or by email. The “Last Updated” date reflects the most recent version.
